Today went to cut my hair, think it'll be the last time i am cutting my hair short, the next time i visit the barber all 3000 strands will be left at his shop. I'll most probably cut my head bald b4 reporting for enlistment, heard the barbers at Tekong no license one, will cut ur scalp while they shave you, so better dun take the risk. Spend 7 bucks to remove the risk of discomfort to ur head while in NS. And yes talking about NS i need some enlightenment on a matter, i wanna know if we the 4-eyed frogs will be given free plastic glasses but the Army. I heard from my frenz we will be given standard glasses free, bit dunno how true is this... Can anyone verify this for me?

Had chemistry practical today, had the fright of my life when Mr Ong YH came in and warned us about carelessness when doing the double indicator titrations. Wa sian, i didn't think it will come out and i dun even have the notes to revise on the spot. Was in an extreme state of panic, lucky i managed to borrow one and starting mugging conscientiously for 15mins. Didn't really manage to grasp the concept but then got no time left, so no choice had to anyhow whack during the practical. Luckily for me, i think i've got it right, cos my frenz also got roughly the same answers as me.
Then the kinetics was a breeze, but then think i was too careful when doing that part and in the end lost some time in that section. Then the QA ar, wa nothing to say sia. Firstly dun have deductions column then dunno whether need to write the identities of the precipitates anot. In the end decided to play safe and i crammed all the deductions into the observations column. Plus i oso cheated abit la cos by the time i got my calcium hydroxide ready all the gas gone liao, so dunno wad gas evolved. But then i saw abit of white ppt in the delivery tube left behind by 1st shift, so i happily concluded carbon dioxide was evolved and luckily it tallied with all my frenz' answers. But the other anion was a headache ar... everybody else wrote SO4, onli me write SO3 so abit stressed. But i swear the white ppt got dissolve lor, haiz... Sian 1/2...
Juz had a long chat with JK, about my relationship with K. He's the onli close fren of mine attached at the moment so he's in the best position to give me advice. JK said some things that really gave me something to think about. In a way i think wad he said made sense. Yea wads the use of a one-shot date when its not gonna matter at all, i shld be thinking of a long term relationship for me and her to know each other better, and tats wad i cannot give her due to my imminent enlistment. Now tats the only time ever in my life that i've hated being fat, gotta go in early for PTP. Perhaps i shld let her go and maybe she'll find someone who can give her real happiness. Real love is about giving, not taking. Though it hurts my heart to see her with another guy, but i dun wan her to be unhappy. Lets not be selfish, i wun jeopardise her interests for mine.
Really hoping she'll still be available on the day we collect A levels results, tats the time which i feel i can provide her with the love she wans, as i've completed BMT by then. And of course i would have shedded the kilos and maybe become a much more confident person. Will she wait for me???

Woah woah big leakage today... TYS now knows that i like K, all thanx to DW, who happily contributed the juicy details while they were talking about me at HP. Sian, actually its not bcos cannot tell TYS, he's also very close fren of mine and he even dreamt of me b4(LOL... haha... pai sei... cant help but mention it), so i actually dun mind him knowing. But somehow bcos he has got lotsa contacts, the sense of security is not there, he might tell ppl about it and tats wad i dun wan. Me and K are in this state bcos we didn't keep a low profile when i started taking the initiative. So we slowly drifted further and further from one another, and now we are not even on speaking terms.
Haiz thinking back on the past 2 years i really didn't cherish my time with her, until now with abt 1 month left then start to panic. Worry about not being able to see her ever again, worry about having regrets for wad i did not do for the rest of my life. I dun wan that to happen, no way. Funny how i didn't realise this earlier, and looking back i really shld have done something during last year's class chalet. We were playing truth and dare, i got the lucky card and chose truth. As expected they asked me if i liked K, as speculation was rife that we were an item, but actually not. I lacked the guts to admit it so i denied all the way, despite all my classmates urging me to say it. Till now i'm still regretting my decision, i shld have told the truth at that very moment, things might have worked out then.
So now with a month left i'm trying to make up for lost time, doing wadeva i can and hopefully can win her heart. Really praying i will succeed, but i face a serious competitor that is in a much better position than me to achieve the goal. He's a really irritating fellow and i dun like his face. But then he is enlisting in January and will have 1 whole month more than me to try to woo K, so my chances are really slim. The onli way i can succeed is if she likes me all along, but i doubt thats the case, so its mission impossible really. Oh darn, i really shld have admitted at the chalet, b4 she met this guy i call A. If she had accepted then we might have been a couple for a yr alady, HAIZZZZZ...
Back to today, really worked hard at mugging. First time really that i spent almost the entire day on my books. Almost completed PJC Chemistry paper, juz left a handful of problems in paper 3. Started to draft out the rough scheme of work for the next 2-3 weeks, realise i cant finish doing all the papers i have, so i'm juz selecting the useful ones to practice and leaving one or two per topic for my personal mock test. Hopefully my efforts will pay off and i can get into the U, or rather NTU Mechanical Engineering. WORK HARD BOY!!!

Wah today really si bei tiring... Woke up damn early to play table tennis with Alvin & KL, play play then got worker wanna paint the walls and chased us away... SIAN. No choice move to the other table, never played there b4. Discovered the table was lower, theorectically this means easier to strike top-spins, but it didn't really work out for me. Alvin benefitted the most while i had a winless streak at the beginning. TMD
Then afternoon i go bedok meet DW for lunch and also to book BBQ pit at East Coast. I eat the carrot cake then keep on dropping it on the table sia, wasted a lot of food. I think the uncle who cleared the table also "sian diao"... haha. Then later we cycled to East Coast to book the pit. I haven cycled for quite some time alady, had quite a few terrifying moments. I took DW's old bike at first, like not difficult to cycle. The front end was damn heavy and hard to control, plus the seat got problem keep on having crack sounds, scare me sia... Later the bike collapse. Finally i managed to psycho DW to gimme his 400 dollar bike. Wa damn shiok sia, paddle a little can go far far, plus the bike is very light and easy to handle. I was able to keep the bike for the entire journey, Muahahahahaha!!!
Funni lei, at the end of the journey my shirt was soaked with sweat but DW didn't even break a single sweat. Muz be he too experienced with cycling, while i had to use maximum concentration to keep the bike in a straight line.. LOL. Then no choice lor, go DW hse to shower and change. Surprisingly he got a T-shirt that i can actually fit in, its a miracle isn't it? Then he bring me eat chicken chop, its damn nice man, excellent recommendation by DW. The meat is so succulent and tender that even when u eat it without any sauces, it still taste fantastic. Muz really thank DW alot for being so "friend", sacrifice his mugging time to bring me to book pit, then lend me shirt and also let me shower at his hse. Hey thanx brother, but then the sugarcane i treated u really damn ex lei, 1.50 u noe?? Argggggghhhhh... but nvm, i'm a generous person.
Then in the end today do little work onli, haiz... I'm falling way behind the schedule, dun noe whether can finish all the revision anot. Hopefully yes or i'll be in deep shit....

Wah sian... I think there's something very wrong with tag-board.com, all their tagobards all not loading so i have removed my tagboard temporarily or else u guys cant see this page.
Very firstly, the most important thing today. Juan Pablo Montoya has won the Brazilian Grand Prix. Its a fantastic result for me, for Juan Pablo and of cos for the Williams team. Its their first victory of the 2004 season, but sadly it will also be the only one cos this year's World Championship has ended. Juan Pablo certainly gave me a wonderful headstart as i approach my A levels, which started today. Though i stayed up till 3am yesterday to watch the race, every minute was worth it. Finally the results that i had yearned for throughout the season, a Williams victory, and its my idol Juan Pablo Montoya.
Sadly though, my beloved Arsenal lost their unbeaten run to my most hated team Man Utd, juz 2 hrs b4 Montoya took the chequered flag at Interlagos. It sure dampened my mood a little, but Montoya's win was all tat matter, anyway Man Utd cant really catch up, can they? I muz say i think the ref is a s*****, gave stooopid decisions. But then no amt of arguing can change the result, and the reality, so lets not bother with it. Yes Man Utd beat Arsenal 2-0, we'll accept the defeat gracefully, and bounce back from this set-back to become stronger as a team. We'll take the Premiership again and successsfully defend our crown.
Well today i had my physics paper 4, was quite relaxed and confident b4 going into the lab, in an upbeat mood as Montoya had really lifted my confidence level. But soon i was panicking as i realised i forgot to bring long ruler for drawing graphs, wad the hell man... No choice, gotta use protractor to slowly extend the lines. Then i took quite a while to figure out how to set-up the circuit in question 2, wa lao then discovered the voltmeter was faulty lor, in the end had to get Mr Cox to change it, dunno whether the chief examiner got write irregularity report on me anot. Hopefully no la cos i din get any help, i set up the circuit correctly liao then discover voltmeter gives no readings. Mr Cox told me he will speak to the chief examiner but i dunno if he actually did tat. After that it went pretty smoothly, i was able to get all the readings and i'm quite confident of my answers actually, so i can say i've got a great start.

Yes, its time to fire-up those 3-litre V10 engines and remove the tyre blankets. Its qualifying proper! Keeping ur car to the pit-lane speed limit, u travel down the pit-lane. Ur engine groaning awfully as u go, it wasn't designed to go so slowly. Finally u crossed the line tat begins ur warm-up lap, all the horsepower from ur engine is released, spinning the wheels at 19,000 rpm u reach up to 360km/h. Very soon u break the timing beam for ur flying lap and shift down 4 gears for turn 1, a tight left-hander. This is the Physics Paper 4, our very first challenge in the quest to claim pole position, to claim a place in the universities.
Yes finally it is beginning, our 2 years' of efforts will be put to the test. Our very first paper begins tmrl and it will be important to get a good start that puts u into momentum for the rest of the lap, or rather the rest of the papers. To all my friends facing this ultimate test with me tmrl, good luck to all of you, lets all do well and get into the universities.
By a twist of fate, my first A level paper coincides with the final F1 race in the 2004 season. And to add salt to the injury its the Brazilian Grand Prix which takes place in the wee hours of the morning. Moreover its the first time ever this Grand Prix is held this late in the year, usually its the Japanese Grand Prix that wraps up the season. If so, the race would have been held in the afternoon and not at midnite!!! Wad the hell man!!!
But nevertheless, i'm gonna put my consciousness tmrl at risk by watching the race, such is my passion for this sport, I'm willing to put anything on the line. Hopefully my idols Montoya, Raikkonen and Button can return me this favour by winning the race. I'll be delighted if any of these 3 lifts the trophy at the end of the race. Its possible, Montoya qualified in 2nd whilst Raikkonen is in 3rd so they'll have a pretty good chance of winning this.
Finally clarified all my doubts yesterday, its finalised. K is NOT attached, as least not yet. I'm so damn happy abt this and trust me i'm gonna go all out after the A levels, leaving no regrets behind. I dun mind being rejected, i just wanna know tat at least i've tried. And i'll make sure she regrets if i get rejected. I'm gonna be Arnold Schwarzenegger on the day when we collect our A level results. So to all my buddies, wish me good luck k?

Sorry to all my fans out there, the EPL expert will be extremely busy preparing for his final challenge, the A levels. Therefore there wun be anymore EPL predictions and analysis until at least April i think, i've got National Service right after my exams so yea, i guess there juz isn't enough time to do this stuff anymore.
Due to my upcoming 5-month absence from civilisation, i am giving up my beloved Fantasy Premier League team for adoption, as i dun wan them to finish last in the league. My team is in pretty good shape, 3rd place in the 8-man League of Death. So erm, anyone interested to adopt my team please gimme a msg on the tagboard ok?
And speaking of tagboards, following complaints lodged by Alvin and KL, i have decided that something was wrong with my previous tagboard and i've replaced it with a brand new one, from a different constructor and hopefully, it will do fine. Any problems with this new tagboard again pls try to inform me in some way or another, thank you very much.
I received some breaking news today, Jenson Button will not be joining Williams next season as the Contract Recognition Board(CRB) decided BAR had the legal services of the Briton, so yea its just too bad. Bad for Williams as Button is really a talented driver, but dun worry i'm still available. Still hoping for that magical phone-call from Sir Frank Williams that will disrupt my imminent National Service and bring me to Silverstone for some testing duties. Yea fat hope i know, but we must have dreams to work towards to. Realistically Antonio Pizzonia and David Coulthard could be in the running for the final seat in a front-running team, failure to catch this opportunity could mean driving for Minardi(Yucks!!!) or sitting out next season with no drives.
A very exciting event will be coming up on 4 Dec 2004 at the Stade de France, the race of World Champions. This competition allows Formula drivers and Rally drivers to race in similar cars, thus deciding who's really the Champion of the Champions. Obviously F1 2004 World Champion Michael Schumacher will be taking part, along with McLaren's David Coulthard. Newly crowned World Rally Champion 2004, Sebastien Loebs will also be there, thus i reckon we have a pretty amazing race coming up. Just hope that StarSports will be showing this race.
Today i received yet further confirmation that N is really interested in me, and well i guess i cant run away from it anymore. But nevertheless i doubt i'll be doing anything bout it until after the A levels. Perhaps i dun mind spending time with her during my last 13 days, i juz really dunno. Furthermore, i've credible reports from KL that K is actually not attached so erm, this really lifted my spirits for the day, and perhaps given me much more motivation to work hard for the exams, now that i have something to really look forward to during that last 13 days. Still seeking further information on this piece of breaking news, yea so KL i'm depending on you now, hey brother i'll give u a treat if things work out brilliantly ok? Thanx for making my day.

Today i received a green letter from Ministry of Defence. Yes u guessed it, the dreaded enlistment letter. I'll be at Tekong Chalet no.1 on 8 Dec 2004, starting my Physical Training Phase(PTP), with the goal of losing weight and passing my first ever NAPFA test, or rather the IPPT as they call it in the Army. Really cannot believe that 18 years have flew by so fast, now i'll be leaving civilisation and striking it out in the wilderness.
Though i had long expected to be in the 1st batch of enlistees, i didn't reckon it would be THAT early. Barely 2 weeks to enjoy after A levels, now i'm getting really stressed out. Gotta cope with the massive obstacle of the A levels, and getting mentally prepared to be a soldier. Its tough really, to balance the 2, and i'm fast losing the motivation the study. Feel really guilty about not studying but really lose the urge to work hard the moment i see the notes. Really need someone to be with me at this moment, to share my concerns and give me mental support. Yea at this moment i really treasure my brothers from VS. Always thought tat girls are sweet and demure, but my views have changed drastically really. They're obsessed with themselves onli, and dun noe wad they really wan. Perhaps tats bcos i haven found "the one", the ger that will change my life and hopefully become my wife. First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me!!! Yes me... On 16 Oct 1986, i crawled out of my mother's womb after 10 hrs of labour, and i left a parting gift to the place i called home for 9 mths. I shitted in my mum's womb, can u believe it???
A few other Librans also celebrate 18 years of human life along with me these few days. It's Alvin's birthday today and KL's in 2 days' time. Happy Birthday to my pals, good luck for ur 'A's and may we meet again in university. Friends Forever!!!
Kimi Raikkonen is celebrating his 25th birthday today too and so lets not forget this future F1 World Champion. C'mon Kimi, beat the Ferraris at Interlagos as a birthday gift!!!
Guess who was first to send me a birthday message? Its N and it was right on the stroke of midnite. Guess my hunches were rite... Not exactly the one i was hoping for to send this message to me. The long-awaited message did come, at 3.06pm. Yea at least she remembered but i'll very much prefer her to be the one tat sent me the message at midnite, not N. Haiz... When can i ever get happiness? Gonna be drafted very soon, expecting to receive the conscription letter in a few weeks' time and then i'll be off... off to a world of only guys and guys and guys, plus a few doses of physical trainings. OMG, i'm getting jittery juz thinking about it. And juz at this very moment, my com played a song... Its the theme song of Superman... "Somebody Save Me" How ironic is this???

Yea, 2 years passed really quickly, now we're faced with the daunting task of conquering A levels and making it to the U. No more fun and games, it's gotta be hard work from now on. All our 12 years of studies was culminated on this day, 13 Oct 2004, SRJC Graduation Day.
Didn't really think much abt it until its over. Now i realised i may not see some of my classmates and fellow ODACians ever again, we'll be all on different paths, pursuing different dreams of our own. I think i will miss them, definitely hope to meet again in the future, in particular 1 person. I shudder at the thought of not seeing her ever again, i will always regret wad i did, or rather wad i did not do, when the chance was there. Haiz, must always cherish the ppl around you!
Well, our veri own VS gang, or Senghou gang, celebrated our completion of academic education by having steamboat yesterday at Marina Bay. It was definitely a joyous occasion, hilarious even when DW always fails to catch our jokes... LOL. It was fun seeing DW and JK squirming when i placed the live prawn on the hot plate, making me a murderer. In the end the murderer decided not to commit too many sins and i ate 1 prawn onli, KKK ate close to 10 i believe. Originally wanted to have a seafood feast, in the end we had a meat feast, chicken in particular. I think we had 4 full plates of chicken, plus 2 plates of pork. To top it off, JK even took close to 20 "siew mais", wa lao eh... buay ta han...
After this extremely filling dinner we went to the arcade and played our hearts out. It was my first time playing the World Combat game, and i muz say it is a really nice game. I came out tops in the first 2 rounds played, becoming the leader as i managed to shoot down the Apache attack helicopter. It went downhill from there, i didn't achieve much in the later rounds. Then we met 2 pros. They completed the game, with the rank of field marshal, whilst we were absolutely delighted when we onli got promoted to corporals... LOL.
After a whole day of fun i reached home, weary and thirsty, i swear they put lots of MSG into the chicken. But for me it was a day well spent for sure. Now i realised friendship is the best relationship anyone can enjoy. We share fun and woes together. Yea, really felt sad for TYS, can't believe his ex-GF dumped him for another guy. KKK too, for his on-off relationship with Layee-osaurus. Yea, wad the hell, FRIENDS FOREVER guys!!!

One British newspaper suggested that Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich is "
on pole position to take control of the Jaguar F1 team"
Jaguar F1 team was recently declared bankrupt and is in urgent need of funding to remain in the sport for next year. Mr Abramovich may well fancy owning a F1 team along with Chelsea FC. It would be very interesting indeed of the deal goes thru', imagine Frank Lampard at the wheel of a F1 car!!!

Wad a race it was at Suzuka on Sunday. To start things off, both qualifying and the race was held on the same day, a historic first in F1, as the track was hit by typhoons on Saturday. Qualifying was pretty exciting, the track was half-wet, half-dry, seeing the cars lapping the wet parts in dry-weather tyres was amazing. Some drivers spun at the wettest section, the Casio Triangle, and ended up at the back of the grid for the race.
Michael Schumacher led from pole position and won the race outright by 20+ seconds from brother Ralf. Brit Jenson Button completed the top 3 finshers, and effective sealed 2nd place in the constructors' championship for BAR. Not too many incidents in this race, the most notable one was Barrichello crashing his Ferrari into Coulthard's McLaren, taking both drivers out of the race. The most interesting was definitely Mark Webber retiring from the race as his butt was being burnt in the car. Due to the lack of proper running before the race, the race engineers set up Webber's car too low, and the car was constantly rubbing with the tarmac, creating the heat felt by Webber in the cockpit. It was definitely a hilarious moment. Tribute to Toyota's Olivier Panis also, who had driven his last F1 race at Suzuka. He didn't perform well but lets not forget his contribution to F1 during his years in this sport.
Here's wad race winner Michael Schumacher had to say after the race:
“This was a historic day for Formula 1, taking pole and the win on the same day. It was certainly exciting, but I think I prefer the old system! This one is quite stressful for the engineers and mechanics. We wanted to do well for Bridgestone in their home race to thank them for all their efforts. The fact that I did not do well in China, certainly helped my qualifying in terms of when I made my run in pre-qualifying. It was clear to us that we would have a strong race pace, but after the start, I had Ralf in my mirrors for quite a while and the gap between us was not growing as quickly as I had expected and he was certainly hanging on. Because there had been no running yesterday, it was hard to understand what the other teams’ race strategies would be and before the race, I was concerned about this. But in the end, it all worked out fine and I had a trouble free race.”
Now back to my life, i think i'm in deep shit cos i have been targeted. There's this infamous desperado in school whom i would name her N. She's acting pretty strangely to me recently and i think she's taken a fancy on me. Yea its probably a good thing but now that A levels are coming and i'm not veri sure if i like her as well. My heart still hurting from that time... I dun think i wanna start a relationship anytime soon, unless of coz the person is... Well i dunno wad to do now, i dun wanna be distracted from my studies at this moment. Someone help me please!!!

The Formula One World Championships shifts to Suzuka for the FUJI television Japanese Grand Prix this weekend, the EPL expert takes u on a flying lap of Suzuka:
Accelerating past the start-finish line all the way up to 7th gear, speed in excess of 300km/h, u brake down to 3rd gear, 160km/h for the first curve. Exiting Turn 1 u reach a series of 4th gear 'S' curves, taken at 200km/h. Get on the power nice and early, u accelerate up to 6th gear as u negotiate the Dunlop Curve and hard braking down to 2nd gear, 130km/h, for the Degner Curve. Hard acceleration again, till u reach the 1st gear hairpin, taken at 70km/h, followed by the short shoot to the Spoon Curve. Balancing the car on the throttle thru' this turn, u exit the Spoon Curve in 3rd gear and immediately get on the power. 16 seconds at full throttle will take u to the Casio Triangle, a 1st gear chicane. Keep a nice and tight line over the chicane and accelerate to the start-finish line to start another lap.
Current lap-record: 1'33.408, held by Ralf Schumacher, clocked in 2003
This year we will be looking at a lap-time of about 1 min 32s, Pole position will be in the region of 1 min 30.5s

Man Utd suffered a slight hiccup to their comeback run, dropping 2 points at home against Middlesbrough, whilst Newcastle also drew against Birmingham. Most notably, Spurs finally ended Everton's amazing run to 3rd place by beating them 1-0 at Goodison Park.

Yeah, finalised all my results todae. I'm reasonably happy with them, C C D plus C5 for GP. Still a bit off the university admission criteria but i sure will push even harder for the actual "qualifying lap", the A levels itself. I think i did ok for this "pre-qualifying", getting myself to like say P4 on the grid, muz push abit harder to take pole, the ultimate goal of entering the U.
It was like a dream come true when i received my GP results today. I couldn't believe that i passed, i passed the terrorism question!!! They had announced that onli 3 out of the 60+ ppl who did this question passed, and i was one of the three. All my prayers were answered man, i prayed to Jesus, Buddha, the Muslim God and wadeva was available. You should have seen the expression on my face, it looked juz like how Jerry looked when Gurmit announced he made it thru at the expense of Jessea. Well my good fren KL also did this one, hopefully he can pass too.
But one has to realise that the actual test is rite ahead, we shouldn't slacken and undo all the good work put in over the last year or so. It's the penultimate lap, one last challenge, last exam i will be taking for 2 years, i'm gonna slingshot my way to P1, and take my buddies along. We shall all enjoy university life together. I'm gonna be my Arnold Schwarzenegger and charm all the ladies in the varsity. Muahahahahaha..., opps that sounded abit perverted, but then again, its me!!!

wow, i cant believe i got the entire seng-hou gang to go KTV!!! Its really a surprise ppl like JK and DW agreed to go. Well, i guess its a consolation for me after going thru' 2 days of hell. Did alot of soul-searching for the past couple of days and i have sort of gotten over it. I mean since its her choice then i wish her all da best, cant do anything about it. Life goes on, gotta look ahead now, i swear i'm not looking back anymore, no matter wad. There are greener pastures ahead.
And btw i am selling my prom nite ticket, SRJCians interested can leave me a message on the tagboard, price is negotiable, but its definitely not free. Well no point going anymore, make me more sad onli...
